Parker Ranch is one of the largest cattle ranches in the United States. This is surprising since it is on the island of Hawaii in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. This is a shot across a small section of the ranch looking down towards the water although you cannot see the water due to haze.

Boylan Vintage Soda
This one makes me thirsty.
Turquoise
Not much to this photograph. I just liked the way the sun was falling across the door and the fact that one rarely sees this color.
Punch Bug Green (no return)
I have seen this Beetle around town a few times and have wanted to take a picture of it. One day by the beach I got my chance and while I was taking my picture the owner came by with a big smile on his face obviously proud of his vehicle.
I must admit that I changed the color of the car slightly to a green that I like more.
1964 Shelby Cobra
I am not a really big car buff, but this one catches anyone’s eye. I am not sure if this is a real one or one of the replicas that are available. I am also not sure that it is a 1964 but I did some googling and I think I am right. Please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. Regardless, this is a sweet ride.
Elephant Carving
My wife has this little elephant carving that is only about 2 inches tall. Since I can’t afford the helicopter ride over the savanna to get a similar shot with real elephants I guess this one will have to do.
Listen
I call this one “Listen” obviously because ears are for listening but I also like to use it as a bit of a reminder to listen for the details in the world. I try to notice the small things that are just as amazing as the big things. It’s easy to stop listening because of all the noise and distraction.

Waterslide
My wife came across this waterslide in the middle of Montana that isn’t very close to any cities. I took this shot looking up into the sun so that it filtered through the semi-transparent slide.
Sawmill Smoke
A winter long exposure shot of the sawmill in downtown Kelowna.

Pampas Grass
My family and I used to live in Mukilteo, Washington. It is a beautiful small town next to Everett. This shot was taken from Mukilteo Drive with the sun setting behind the Olympic mountains to the west.
